Job summary

Satellite Office is seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join our engineering team. The role emphasizes manual testing initially, working closely with developers and product managers to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Over time, you will help expand test automation capabilities and contribute to AI-driven quality initiatives, collaborating across projects and mentoring junior QA teammates.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of software QA experience.
• Experience in automated testing and test automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and defect tracking.
• Experience with Agile development and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to design test cases and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive manual test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform thorough functional, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using bug tracking tools
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle
• Strong understanding of test environments across various projects
• Design and implement test automation frameworks and scripts
• Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective action
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies
• Mentor junior QA team members and promote best practices in software testing
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging testing technologies
