Jacobs is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer in the Philippines to lead the design and delivery of power generation projects, including simple cycle and combined cycle plants. The role focuses on advanced power system design, equipment specification and technical governance for large-scale facilities.

You will mentor multidisciplinary teams, deliver key engineering outputs, and ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, IEC and Philippine standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Experience leading design of simple cycle and/or combined cycle power projects.
Experience across concept design, FEED and detailed engineering.
Knowledge of NEC, IEEE, IEC and Philippine Electrical Code; US codes a plus.
Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate complex deliverables.
Experience with power system studies using ETAP or SKM.

Responsabilités

Lead electrical design and delivery of power generation projects (simple and combined cycle).
Serve as technical authority for power systems and substation design.
Develop and review electrical specs for switchgear, transformers, generators and MCCs.
Oversee deliverables like SLDs, protection philosophies, wiring diagrams and layouts.
Lead power system studies including load flow, short circuit, harmonics and transient analysis.
Ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, IEC and local standards.
Provide technical oversight and QA of electrical deliverables.
Support client engagement, proposals and project execution.
Mentor engineers and drive technical excellence across Electrical discipline.
