Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead the design and delivery of major power generation projects in the Philippines, including simple cycle and combined cycle plants.

The role requires senior technical leadership, governance over electrical design, and mentoring of multidisciplinary teams across our global portfolio. You will ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, IEC and local codes, oversee critical deliverables, and drive technical excellence in

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Experience leading design of power generation projects (simple cycle/combined cycle).
Experience across concept design, FEED, and detailed engineering phases.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical design and delivery of power generation projects.
Act as technical authority for power systems and electrical equipment.
Develop and review electrical specifications for switchgear, transformers, gensets, MCCs, drives, and cables.
Oversee preparation of SLDs, protection philosophies, wiring diagrams, layouts, and design basis reports.
Lead power system studies including load flow and short circuit analyses.
