Job summary

Lyka Viterbo is seeking a detail-oriented Pricing & Quotation Specialist to support freight, shipping, trucking, warehousing, and logistics pricing. You will calculate quotes based on volume, weight, distance and fees, and coordinate with Sales, Operations, Finance, Procurement and carriers to secure accurate costs.

You will review carrier and supplier rates, update pricing sheets and tariffs, monitor market pricing, and prepare pricing reports to guide profitable quotations and decisions.

Qualifications

• Prepare and provide freight, shipping, trucking, warehousing, and logistics quotations.
• Calculate pricing based on shipment volume, weight, distance, route, fuel costs, handling charges, customs duties, and other applicable fees
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Finance, Procurement, and carriers/suppliers to obtain accurate cost information.
• Review and analyze carrier and supplier rates and negotiate where appropriate.
• Maintain and update pricing/rate sheets, customer tariffs, and contract rates.
• Monitor market and competitor pricing to ensure the company's rates remain competitive.
• Evaluate profit margins and cost structures before submitting quotations.
• Handle spot quotations, tenders, RFQs, and contract pricing.
• Check customer quotations for accuracy and ensure all applicable surcharges and accessorial charges are included.
• Support the Sales team by providing pricing solutions and alternative routing or service options.
• Review existing customer rates and recommend price adjustments when costs or market conditions change.
• Track quotation results and analyze win/loss rates and profitability.
• Ensure pricing follows company policies, customer agreements, and approved profit margins.
• Resolve pricing discrepancies and coordinate with relevant departments regarding billing or rate issues.
• Prepare pricing reports, cost analysis, and management reports as required.
