Job Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and provide competitive freight quotations for air, sea, and land shipments (import/export).
• Evaluate and negotiate freight rates with carriers, shipping lines, and overseas agents to ensure cost efficiency and profitability.
• Maintain updated rate sheets and tariffs from various shipping and airline partners.
• Coordinate closely with the Sales, Operations, and Procurement teams to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of quotations.
• Support the Sales team by providing quick and accurate rate proposals to meet client requirements.
• Monitor market trends, carrier surcharges, and seasonal rate fluctuations to ensure competitiveness.
• Maintain a strong relationship with international agents and partners for rate inquiries and negotiations.
• Ensure all quotations comply with company policies, client agreements, and profit margin guidelines.
• Review shipment details to confirm correct costing before final booking.
• Prepare and update rate comparison reports for management decision-making.
• Support in pricing strategies, tenders, and contract rate submissions for key accounts.
• Collaborate with Finance to validate cost structures and ensure accurate billing based on agreed rates.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve pricing processes and enhance response time to customers.
