Job summary

Kinect Incorporated in Manila is seeking a Business Operations Analyst to support pricing analytics, reporting, and insights across clients, products, and sales performance. The BOA will provide our Operations team with the reporting & workflow management needed to fulfil our customers’ needs.

We are looking for a highly motivated, thorough individual able to work with minimal supervision; detailed oriented and yet able to see the big picture and think holistically.

Qualifications

• Proven analytical skills in reporting and providing insights on results.
• Experience with energy pricing, analytics, and modelling is advantageous.
• Experience with predictive modeling, simulations, and optimization techniques.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotations for residential and business customers, collaborating with sales and account management to provide tailored pricing.
• Support development and implementation of promotional pricing campaigns and offers.
• Monitor and maintain pricing systems for accuracy and currency.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and energy costs to inform pricing decisions.
• Identify opportunities to streamline pricing processes and reduce errors.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare quotation for residential and business customers. Work closely with sales and account management teams to provide tailored pricing and respond to client requests in a timely manner.
• Support the development and implementation of promotional pricing campaigns and special offers.
• Monitor and maintain pricing systems, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
• Conduct analysis of market trends, competitor activity, and wholesale energy costs to support pricing decisions.
• Identify opportunities to streamline pricing processes, improve efficiency, and minimize errors.
• Deliver accurate reports, insights, and recommendations to management on pricing performance and market conditions.

Requirements

• 0-2 years Energy Pricing experience
• Proven analytical skills in areas of reporting and providing insights on the results.
• Experience in the Electricity and Gas industry is an advantage but not required.
• Experience developing prototypes that can be used to drive business decisions.
• Experience with statistical analysis and quantitative modelling techniques, including predictive model development, simulations, optimizations, and other computational method.
