Job summary

Westside Resorts seeks a Business Development Manager to identify, develop and implement sales strategies that attract and retain premium players, strengthen junket and premium markets, and grow business for Westside Resorts. You will manage client relationships, optimize the book of business, and support a collaborative, high-performing team.

The role involves working throughout the casino and property, attending internal and external events, and undertaking provincial or international business

Qualifications

• Two years of college education; BA/BS preferred in business-related field.
• At least three years of managerial experience in casino marketing or player development.
• Proven ability to acquire and manage client relationships.
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Data-driven with ability to analyze trends and make decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong professional relationships with new and existing premium players to drive visitation.
• Manage complements in alignment with customer reinvestment strategies to support profitability.
• Promote gaming products and services to target market segments, especially premium players.
• Manage the sales process from initial contact through closure in line with policies.
• Understand player preferences and adjust offers to maximise satisfaction and retention.
• Attract and retain clients to support long-term book viability.
• Use data analysis and promotions to identify high-value players and growth opportunities.
• Monitor book-of-business performance against segment goals and KPIs.
• Lead performance planning, goal setting and evaluations for team members.
• Coach and mentor direct reports to support growth and development.
• Implement initiatives that promote employee engagement and teamwork.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders, partner hotels, junket operators, and VIP players.
