Job summary

SM Engineering Design and Development Corp. is seeking a QA Auditor to support the company’s QMS through process reviews, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will work with Process Owners to map and refine procedures, and lead quality trainings across the organization.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering, at least 2 years in construction or related engineering, and Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification. Willingness to be assigned in Pasay City is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering.
• 2+ years in construction or related engineering field.
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification.
• Familiar with QMS models (ISO, TQM) and process mapping.
• Willing to be assigned in Pasay City.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates creation and revisions of key work processes, procedures, templates, and forms to support the effective implementation of the company’s QMS.
• Consultations with Process Owners to facilitate process reviews and continuous improvements.
• Conducts quality trainings to promote a quality mindset across all levels of the organization.
• Prepares the QA Audit Plan, Audit Team Composition, Audit Assignment Distribution, and Audit Findings aligned to the QMS Master Audit Plan.
• Performs the scheduled Quality Audit functions to evaluate departmental compliance as per duly approved QMS standards.
• Conducts gap analyses and recommends process improvements.
• Carries out audit reports and closes out to verify the effectiveness of submitted action plans.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering
• At least 2 years of experience in the construction industry or related engineering field
• Certified Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt
• Strong familiarity with Quality Management System models such as ISO, TQM, etc.; Process Mapping & Flowcharting
• Must be willing to be assigned in Pasay City
