Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• At least five years of relevant experience in plant, warehouse, logistics, or related operations with supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience in office furniture, office systems, furniture repair or reconfiguration, warehousing or distribution preferred.
• Working knowledge of inventory control, order fulfilment, fleet coordination, safety, and basic repair workflows.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process-improvement methods is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, planning, problem-solving, decision-making, and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Ability to interpret operational data and translate findings into corrective actions.

Responsibilities

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Plant and Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Pampanga facility supporting the office systems and furniture business. The position is responsible for efficient plant and warehouse operations, accurate inventory, timely order fulfilment and delivery, effective fleet coordination, workplace safety and security, and the supervision of minor furniture reconfiguration and repair activities.

Key responsibilities

· Plan, direct, and monitor daily plant and warehouse activities.

· Ensure orders are prepared accurately and completed within agreed schedules.

· Improve warehouse layout, storage practices, space utilization, material flow, and operating procedures.

Inventory and Order Fulfillment

· Maintain accurate inventory records through proper receiving, storage, issuance, transfers, and cycle counts.

· Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective and preventive measures.

· Coordinate with Sales, Logistics, Purchasing, and other relevant departments to support customer requirements and prevent avoidable shortages or delays.

Fleet and Delivery Operations

· Oversee vehicle availability, dispatch coordination, preventive maintenance, and the timely resolution of fleet issues.

· Monitor delivery timeliness, order accuracy, vehicle utilization, and fleet downtime, and recommend practical improvements.

Furniture Reconfiguration and Repair

· Plan and supervise minor furniture reconfiguration, repair, and related technical work performed at the facility.

· Coordinate manpower, materials, tools, and completion schedules based on approved work requirements.

· Ensure completed work meets the required specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and delivery commitments.

· Monitor material usage, rework, and repair-related costs, and ensure tools and work areas are properly maintained.

Safety, Security, and Facility Maintenance

• Ensure compliance with applicable workplace safety, security, access-control, and CCTV policies.


• Oversee the upkeep, preventive maintenance, and timely repair of the company's buildings and warehouses.


• Conduct regular facility inspections and promptly address identified maintenance, operational, safety, and security risks.


• Coordinate incident investigation, documentation, corrective action, and follow-through.

Process Improvement and Team Leadership

· Identify process gaps and implement practical improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, or comparable methods.

· Monitor agreed performance indicators and prepare periodic operational reports for management.

· Set clear performance expectations, coach and evaluate employees, and support workforce planning, attendance management, accountability, and employee development.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.


• At least five years of relevant experience in plant, warehouse, logistics, furniture, or related operations, including experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity.


• Experience in office furniture, office systems, furniture repair or reconfiguration, warehousing, distribution, or a related industry is preferred.


• Working knowledge of inventory control, order fulfilment, fleet coordination, workplace safety, and basic repair or reconfiguration workflows.


• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process-improvement methods is an advantage.
