Job summary

Job Description:

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES:

• To develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory, gate processes, and shipping or delivery methods.

• To train and manage the warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals.

• To oversee daily operations while controlling and managing inventory and logistics.

• To review and prepare workflows, staffing requirements, space allocations, equipment layouts, and action plans that meet company standards for productivity and quality.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing the program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.

• Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with the data storage system.

• Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts.

• Ensures effective utilization of warehouse areas and observes proper loading, unloading, handling, stocking, and safekeeping of items to maintain the quality of goods to prevent product damage and avoid the occurrence of pilferage, accidents, and occupational hazards.

• Effectively monitors the flow of goods and implements the First-In First-Out (FIFO) method.

• Coordinates with the purchasing department with regards to incoming deliveries of materials and supplies in the Balesin Island.

• Maintains the highest standards of customer service by immediately attending and resolving internal customer (Store or Villages) issues on product or items order preparation before dispatch.

• Coordinates with the head office warehouse or in in the purchasing department in maintaining minimum and maximum level of goods in the warehouse based on order demand and forecast.

• Provides materials, equipment, and supplies by directing receiving, warehousing, and distribution services, supervising staff.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in (SCM) Supply Chain Management major in Logistics Operations, Warehousing, or any related field.

• Proven experience as a Warehouse & Logistics Manager or in a similar role at least 8 years of experiences.

• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and transportation logistics.

• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement process improvements.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
