Job Description:
This position plays a key role to deliver on the marketing strategy and annual brand plan development for the molecular diagnostics business. This role works closely with customer facing teams across the country to deliver on the sales and profitability of the Molecular Franchise.
1. Develop and ensure implementation of a well-defined and actionable marketing plan geared towards achievement of business objectives with monitoring and measurement in place.
The plan should include:
2. Own the new product launch responsibilities, including pre-launch market research, G2M market assessment, launch plan development and execution
3. Act as the new product launch program manager to ensure efficient execution of a launch plan established together with local sales team, distributors, and ASEAN marketing team
4. Support direct sales team and channel partners in presales and aftersales customer journey
5. Deliver impactful product and objection handling training of molecular diagnostics for sales teams, distributors & customers
6. Be a strong brand ambassador working to deliver customer acceptance of the value of our products to become a partner of choice – market reputation and relevance
7. Proactively work with sales team to monitor the competitive intelligence and update the competitors’ IB within current customers on a quarterly basis
8. Work with medical affairs team closely to deliver clinical educations and support customer’s clinical study needs
1. Realistic and defensible STRAT and Budget (annual business growth planning in collaboration with sales leaders)
2. Timely completion of Marketing Action Plan (Brand Plan) following the marketing strategy aligned with ASEAN directions
3. Driving all marketing actions in unison with the Sales / FAS / FSE/ Medical affairs teams to meet the annual budgeted figures of revenue and profitability
4. Effective value-based product training, enabling sales team’s clinician engagement capability
5. Regular update of competitors’ install base within customer ranges
6. Monthly business update presentation (business performance analysis, marketing action update)
