Job Summary
The Permits and Licenses Assistant is responsible for assisting in the preparation, processing, submission, and monitoring of permits, licenses, clearances, and other regulatory requirements for project development. The role coordinates with government agencies, private offices, and internal departments to ensure timely completion and renewal of requirements. The position also maintains accurate records, monitors permit expiration dates, prepares status reports, and provides administrative and field support to the Permits and Licenses team.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Real Estate Management, Environmental Planning, Geodetic Engineering, or other related fields.
At least 1 year of relevant experience in permits and licensing, regulatory compliance, government transactions, or real estate/project development.
Basic knowledge of building and development permits, licenses, clearances, zoning requirements, taxes, fees, and other regulatory requirements.
Familiarity with LGU and government agency processes related to property development and project permits.
Good coordination, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal effectively with government agencies, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and documentation/records management.
Licensed driver and willing to conduct fieldwork, site visits, and government transactions as required.
Organized, detail-oriented, patient, and diligent in monitoring and completing technical and documentary requirements.
Able to manage multiple requirements, meet deadlines, work under pressure, and accomplish tasks with minimal supervision.
