Job summary

Max's Group, Inc. is seeking a proactive HR Specialist to support daily HR operations across Talent Acquisition, onboarding, and employee relations.

You will coordinate recruitment for store-level and support roles, facilitate onboarding, and help maintain HR records in compliance with Philippine labor laws. The role also covers payroll data supervision, government-mandated benefits, and performance development processes for a diverse workforce in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, or related field
• 2–4 years of progressive HR Generalist experience, preferably in Food & Beverage (F&B), Retail
• Sound working knowledge of Philippine Labor Laws and employee relations practices

Responsibilities

• Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Manage full-cycle recruitment for store-level and support roles (sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers).
• Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation, and integration into Max’s Group culture and policies.
• Employee Relations & Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for employee grievances, counseling, and conflict resolution.
• Facilitate administrative disciplinary procedures following group policies and local labor standards.
• Timekeeping, Payroll & Benefits Administration: Oversee attendance, leaves, and timekeeping data for accurate payroll processing.
• Assist staff with government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG) and company-provided perks/HMO.
• Performance Management & Development: Assist managers in conducting annual performance appraisals.
• HR Operations & Compliance: Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files (201 files), and HR database updates.
• Ensure strict compliance with local labor laws, DOLE regulations, and MGI corporate HR standards.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field
