Job summary

JACQUI FOOD CORP is seeking an HR Assistant - Recruitment & Employee Relations to support the HR team with hiring, record-keeping, and day-to-day employee concerns. The role emphasizes organized recruitment and clear communication to ensure policy compliance.

You'll manage end-to-end hiring for restaurant, warehouse, and office positions, post vacancies, screen applicants, conduct initial interviews, coordinate interviews, and assist with onboarding and employee relations in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1–2 years recruitment and/or employee relations experience preferred.
• Experience in F&B/retail/hospitality advantageous.
• Knowledge of HR practices, recruitment processes, and employee relations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good interviewing and applicant screening skills.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Able to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Can work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist end-to-end recruitment for restaurant, warehouse, office, and other roles.
• Post vacancies on recruitment platforms and social media.
• Screen applicants based on job requirements.
• Conduct initial interviews and coordinate further interviews with managers.
• Schedule interviews, assessments, and pre-employment requirements.
• Maintain an updated applicant tracker and recruitment database.
• Coordinate job offers and onboarding for selected candidates.
• Follow up with applicants on incomplete requirements and status.
• Assist in handling employee concerns and requests.
• Receive and document employee complaints properly.
