Job summary

Klaiya in Manila is seeking a Training and Engagement Officer to support employee development, performance, and engagement through training programs and people-focused initiatives. You will help employees build skills, stay motivated, and grow within the company while supporting Klaiya’s goals.

The role reports to HR Manager and requires 1–3 years of experience, a bachelor's degree, and a full-time hybrid work setup in Manila. Proactive communication and collaborative mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, psychology, business administration, education, or related field.
• Experience in Learning & Development, Training, HR, or Employee Engagement preferred.
• Experience in a fast-paced or e-commerce environment is an advantage.
• Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Organized, proactive, and comfortable working with different teams.
• People-oriented with good interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with digital tools such as Lark and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Create and facilitate training programs based on employee and business needs.
• Identify training and development opportunities.
• Manage training schedules, materials, and evaluations.
• Support onboarding and employee development programs.
• Assist in managing performance reviews and KPI/goal tracking.
• Support employees and leaders in setting clear and achievable goals.
• Help maintain proper performance documentation and follow-ups.
• Plan activities and initiatives that improve employee engagement and teamwork.
• Support employee recognition and retention programs.
• Encourage open communication and a positive workplace culture.
• Promote Klaiya’s values and help create a supportive work environment.
• Identify employee development needs and growth opportunities.
• Work with HR and department heads to support employee career development.
• Assist in creating programs that help employees improve and prepare for future roles.
