Job summary

Ally is seeking a People & Culture Lead to drive recruitment strategy, people operations, culture, and finance operations. You will manage a Recruitment Specialist and shape how Ally attracts, develops, and retains its team.

You'll champion a culture built on ambition, integrity, and a willingness to learn, while supporting invoicing, expense management, and billing workflows. This is a fully remote role with global scope.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in people operations, HR, or recruitment operations.
• Experience managing or coordinating a small team.
• Highly organized with strong follow-through and attention to detail.
• Comfortable with finance tasks: invoicing, billing, expense tracking.
• Proactive and self-motivated—doesn't wait for tasks to be assigned.
• Has used AI tools in their workflow (Claude Code a strong plus).
• Familiarity with Notion, Slack, Google Sheets, and automation tools.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Excited about helping people grow and building a team culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment strategy: pipeline design, screening frameworks, employer branding.
• Manage and support the Recruitment Specialist across interviews, onboarding, and talent acquisition.
• Design and improve onboarding flows for new Executive Partners.
• Foster a culture of ambition, learning, and collaboration across the team.
• Support retention, career pathing, and team growth initiatives.
• Maintain the HRIS and people data systems.
• Manage invoicing, billing reconciliation, and expense reviews.
• Process payments and track spend across platforms (Airwallex, Xero).
• Handle vendor invoices and contractor payments.
• Use automation tools to streamline people and finance workflows.
• Build reporting dashboards and operational systems in Notion.
