Job summary

Paired Recruiting seeks an experienced HR leader to own every facet of people operations for a US-based direct-to-consumer brand. You will manage payroll, onboarding, records, policy, and every hire, while building a scalable system from scratch for a lean US team and distributed contractors.

You will run full-cycle recruiting, ensure US employment compliance, and handle employee relations with discretion. This is the first and only HR hire, so you must work autonomously and set up the function

Qualifications

• 4+ years HR experience including payroll and hiring.
• Experience with US-based DTC or ecommerce brands.
• Hands-on payroll using US platforms such as Gusto, Rippling, Wise, Deel.

Responsibilities

• Own payroll, onboarding, employee records, policy, and hiring end to end.
• Build and maintain HR processes and documentation for a lean US team with distributed contractors.
• Ensure compliance with US employment requirements and mitigate risks.
