Job summary

Curran Daly & Associates is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer with a proven track record in technical sales to drive business development within the construction and industrial sectors in Davao. You will build client relationships, understand project requirements, and present technical and commercial proposals.

You should be willing to be based in or assigned to Davao, conduct fieldwork, and meet clients as needed to close opportunities and monitor market trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in PEB, structural steel, steel fabrication, construction, or related industries.
• Strong technical understanding of PEB systems and construction requirements.
• Proven experience in technical sales, business development, or project-based selling.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
• Willing to be based in or assigned to Davao.
• Willing to conduct fieldwork and meet clients as required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the construction and industrial sectors
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors, developers, consultants, and project owners
• Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals
• Understand client requirements, project specifications, and structural requirements
• Coordinate with engineering, estimation, and project teams to develop appropriate solutions
• Conduct client presentations, site visits, and technical discussions
• Manage the sales process from lead generation through negotiation and closing
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and new project opportunities
