Job summary

Monee Credit, a leading digital payments and financial services provider in Southeast Asia, is seeking a Payroll Specialist (People, Monee Credit) in Manila. You will manage semi-monthly payroll, benefits, and data accuracy while coordinating with payroll vendors.

This role requires 5+ years in payroll, strong knowledge of statutory requirements, and a strategic mindset to support payroll projects and process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher in human resources management or related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant payroll experience.
• Excellent understanding of payroll processes and statutory requirements.
• Meticulous, organized and able to work in fast-paced environments.
• Strong problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strategic mindset to contribute to payroll projects.

Responsibilities

• Process semi-monthly timekeeping, payroll, and benefits accurately.
• Coordinate with payroll vendor to ensure statutory compliance.
• Update employee payroll records promptly.
• Collect data and documents with onboarding team for payroll processing.
• Compute and finalize salary payments for resignations.
• Support monthly/adhoc payroll reporting.
• Review processes to improve efficiency and compliance with regulations.
• Participate in payroll projects (setup, reporting, budgeting, auditing).
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries.
• Assist in Tax Alphalist preparation and release.
• Other related tasks as assigned.
