Job description

We are looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist / Payroll Supervisor who can manage end-to-end payroll operations, ensure accuracy and compliance, and help improve our payroll processes.

We are open to experienced payroll professionals who are highly hands-on and can work independently, as well as senior specialists who demonstrate strong leadership potential and are ready to take the next step in their careers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end payroll process, from timekeeping validation and payroll computation to final pay processing and payroll reconciliation.

• Ensure accurate computation of salaries, overtime, holiday pay, night differential, leave conversions, and other payroll-related earnings and deductions.

• Handle employee final pay, including computation of applicable payables and deductions.

• Prepare and submit payroll-related statutory reports and tax requirements, including BIR Alphalist and other applicable government compliance reports.

• Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory contributions and deductions.

• Reconcile payroll records and address payroll discrepancies and employee concerns.

• Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records and documentation.

• Review existing payroll processes and recommend improvements to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

• For candidates with supervisory experience or leadership potential, assist in overseeing payroll operations, reviewing team output, and guiding payroll personnel.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in end-to-end payroll processing, preferably in a high-volume or multi-branch organization.

• Strong knowledge of Philippine payroll regulations, taxation, statutory contributions, and labor standards.

• Hands-on experience in manual payroll processes, with exposure to payroll systems or HRIS is preferred.

• Knowledgeable in final pay computation, payroll reconciliation, and BIR Alphalist preparation.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to handle confidential employee information.

• Proficient in Excel and other payroll-related tools.

• Previous supervisory experience is an advantage; senior payroll specialists with demonstrated leadership potential are also encouraged to apply.
