Job summary

Emerson in Mandaluyong, Philippines seeks a Team Leader Payroll Operations to guide a team delivering full-cycle U.S. payroll across multiple entities. You will ensure accurate payroll execution while maintaining regulatory compliance and partnering with HR, Finance, and business stakeholders for process excellence.

You will lead year-end activities, drive process improvements, and support ad hoc requirements while upholding service levels for employees and payroll partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, payroll, finance, business or related field.
• At least 2 years of people or project leadership experience.
• 5 years of payroll processing and reporting experience in high-volume environments.
• Experience supporting U.S. payroll operations.
• Experience managing payroll activities, including off-cycle payments and AP interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle payroll for U.S. operations across entities.
• Ensure compliance with wage and hour regulations; monitor updates.
• Support payroll team and back up processing tasks.
• Advise partners on payroll configuration, documentation, testing.
• Drive process improvements for accuracy and efficiency.
• Lead year-end and year-beginning payroll activities with partners.
• Resolve complex payroll discrepancies with root-cause analysis.
• Maintain global standards and service levels for employees and partners.
