Job summary

HelloConnect in Manila is seeking a Payroll Team Leader to oversee end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance. You will lead a high-performing payroll team, develop staff, and partner with Finance and HR on payroll policy and reporting.

The role requires strong knowledge of Philippine payroll processes, statutory compliance, and effective stakeholder management. Experience with payroll systems and Excel is highly valued, with opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• Experience leading a payroll team in a Philippine context.
• End-to-end payroll processing and compliance knowledge.
• Familiarity with BIR Form 2316 preparation.
• Ability to manage confidential payroll data with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for accuracy and compliance.
• Review payroll calculations and imports before final registers.
• Manage payroll calendars, deadlines, and cut-off dates.
• Lead and develop the payroll team through coaching and training.
• Address complex payroll queries and provide timely resolutions.
• Develop payroll policies and internal controls to strengthen operations.
• Support month-end and year-end payroll and reporting.
• Collaborate with Senior Accountants and Finance on audits.
