Job summary

Sprout Solutions in the Philippines seeks a Payroll Master to lead local payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance through Sprout's payroll platform.

You will provide client-facing support, develop payroll expertise, onboard new accounts, and collaborate with development to resolve issues while keeping stakeholders informed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting/HR or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of experience in payroll systems and administration.
• Experience with end-to-end local payroll processing and handling external clients is a plus.
• Demonstrable expertise in current industry accounting and HR technologies.
• Strong communication, sales and presentation skills across varied audiences.

Main Area Of Responsibility

The Payroll Master is the Sprout Solutions industry expert for all payroll processes and industry best practice. The role is highly involved in delivering accurate, timely, and business critical timekeeping and payroll processes through Sprout's technology solutions.

Tasks

• Provide technical support and advice to clients on the company's payroll and HR products
• Develop subject matter expertise on payroll and HR
• Remain current on payroll and HR policies and trends, and on other industry best practices
• Create and build a productive and trusting relationship with clients
• Demo the payroll and HR products to clients articulately and confidently
• Work on a process flow for on-boarding new accounts
• Manage assigned customer issues and take action to resolve issues
• Assist with pre and post sales activities
• Balance internal needs against customer requirements and/or internal businesses/end user's needs within defined parameters
• Demonstrate basic understanding of business contract to support and meet contractual metrics and obligations in area of responsibility
• Forward action items to development team and work with them to outline solution, monitor progress and report fixes/enhancements to client

Minimum Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Human Resource Management or equivalent
• At least 2-3 years of working experience in payroll systems and administration
• Experience in end-to-end local payroll processing and handling external clients (outsourcing services) is a plus
• Demonstrable expertise in current industry accounting and HR technologies
• Strong communication, sales and presentation skill with the ability to communicate technical knowledge across an audience of varying levels of understanding
