We are looking for a Payroll Manager to oversee end‑to‑end payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, strong data controls, and efficient payout management.
This is a hands‑on role focused on data validation, reconciliation, process improvement, and team leadership. We are open to candidates with direct payroll experience as well as professionals from high‑volume finance or operations environments such as billing, reconciliation, shared services, or other data‑intensive functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end‑to‑end payroll processing, including data validation, computation, review, and payout
- Ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time across regular cut‑off cycles
- Validate and reconcile payroll data against timekeeping, billing/operational data, and disbursement reports
- Investigate discrepancies and ensure timely resolution
- Establish and strengthen controls to minimize payroll errors
- Identify process gaps and implement improvements to payroll workflows
- Oversee payroll disbursement through bank and e‑wallet platforms
- Monitor failed or incomplete transactions and ensure proper reprocessing
- Manage and provide guidance to payroll processors and validators
- Ensure the team meets accuracy and processing deadlines
- Coordinate closely with HR, Finance, Operations, and Technology teams
- Serve as an escalation point for payroll‑related concerns and issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in payroll or high‑volume finance/operations
- Experience handling large datasets and/or high employee volumes; experience with 1,000+ employees is preferred
- Strong experience in data validation, reconciliation, and process management
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Process‑oriented with a strong control mindset
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage high‑volume data
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Must be willing to work onsite in San Juan City.

- Direct payroll experience
- Experience in manpower, logistics, BPO, or shared services
- Experience with payroll systems or HRIS
- Exposure to bank uploads, e‑wallets, or other disbursement platforms
