Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with 5–8 years in payroll or high-volume finance.
• Experience handling large datasets and 1,000+ employees preferred.
• Strong data validation, reconciliation, and process management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, including data validation, computation, review, and payout
• Ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time across regular cut-off cycles
• Validate and reconcile payroll data against timekeeping, billing/operational data, and disbursement reports
• Investigate discrepancies and ensure timely resolution
• Establish and strengthen controls to minimize payroll errors
• Identify process gaps and implement improvements to payroll workflows
• Oversee payroll disbursement through bank and e-wallet platforms
• Monitor failed or incomplete transactions and ensure proper reprocessing
• Manage and provide guidance to payroll processors and validators
• Ensure the team meets accuracy and processing deadlines
• Coordinate closely with HR, Finance, Operations, and Technology teams
• Serve as an escalation point for payroll-related concerns and issues
