Job summary

Global Food Solutions, Inc. in San Pablo, Laguna is seeking an HR & Payroll Officer to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing while supporting day-to-day HR operations in a hands-on manufacturing setting.

This role requires strong numerical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across departments to maintain compliance with SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and other statutory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in payroll processing and HR administration.
• Strong knowledge of payroll computation, statutory contributions, and government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable with numbers and payroll data.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end payroll accurately and on schedule, ensuring compliance with policies and statutory requirements.
• Maintain and update payroll records, attendance, leave, overtime, and other payroll-related data.
• Coordinate with Finance and department heads to ensure accurate payroll computation.
• Assist in HR administration, employee records management, and government-mandated reports.
• Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of employee and payroll information.
• Support other HR initiatives and administrative tasks as needed.
