Job summary

SGS & Co in the Philippines is seeking a Payroll Specialist to support accurate payroll processing in line with company policies and statutory requirements. You will coordinate with HR, Finance, and external vendors to resolve payroll issues and ensure timely payroll and reporting across periods.

The role involves handling payroll instructions, timekeeping validation, invoice processing, and compliance with BIR reporting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Accounting or related field.
• Must maintain confidentiality and multi-task effectively.
• Regulatory compliance knowledge required.
• Strong judgement and initiative desired.

Responsibilities

• Support accurate payroll processing in compliance with policies and laws.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external vendors to resolve payroll issues.
• Handle payroll data preparation, validation, and reconciliation.
• Process payroll instructions for new hires, resignations, loans, and other updates.
• Extract and validate time records from HRIS before payroll submission.
• Ensure timely reporting of payroll and compensation data.
• Process payroll-related invoices and manage cost monitoring.
• Support BIR Form 2316 reporting and prepare employment certificates.
