Brief Job Description
The HR & Payroll Officer is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of employee payroll while supporting day-to-day HR operations. The role requires strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build positive working relationships in a collaborative, people-oriented manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process end-to-end payroll accurately and on schedule, ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
- Maintain and update payroll records, employee attendance, leave, overtime, and other payroll-related data.
- Coordinate with Finance and department heads to ensure accurate payroll computation.
- Assist in HR administration, employee records management, and government-mandated reports.
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of employee and payroll information.
- Support other HR initiatives and administrative tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in payroll processing and HR administration.
- Strong knowledge of payroll computation, statutory contributions, and government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR).
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with numbers, formulas, and payroll data.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using HRIS or payroll software.
- Background in manufacturing or FMCG companies.
