Job summary

Citi is seeking a Payroll GL Analyst in Metro Manila to manage payroll accounting GL transactions for the EMEA region. The role requires collaboration with Citibank and HR partners, strict adherence to risk controls, and timely delivery of GL reconciliations and reports.

The candidate should have a Finance/Accounting background with at least two years in GL, comfortable with a hybrid work model, and capable of handling high volumes and tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related business field.
• Minimum 2 years of GL experience with accounting/proofing work.
• Knowledge of general ledger and sub-ledger systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Flexible, team-oriented and eager to learn and share knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform payroll accounting entries, validations, and reporting as required.
• Maintain data security and confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Handle GL reconciliation and respond to finance-related queries.
• Ensure payroll compliance with local regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with Citibank on payroll GL initiatives and issue resolution.
• Support projects to improve payroll GL processes and standardization.
