Job summary

Select VoiceCom in Cebu IT Park, Cebu City, is seeking an experienced Payroll Accountant to oversee salary and benefits, prepare journal entries, and maintain payroll files. The role requires accurate Final Pay computation, statutory remittance knowledge, and strong Excel skills, with on-site work and ASAP start.

You'll handle supplier and payment processes, asset tracking, and ensure compliance with applicable laws, while supporting policy development to strengthen internal controls and payroll

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in payroll processing and accounting in a Philippine setting.
• Knowledgeable about statutory remittances.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Experience in the BPO industry is an advantage.
• Experience in accounting systems is an advantage.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides accurate and timely computation of Final Pay.
• Updates Tracker for Resigned employees.
• Computes SSS maternity and sickness reimbursements.
• Monitors resigned trainees.
• Keeps complete and organized Final Pay files like Quitclaim, Clearance and other supporting documents.
• Ensures on-time statutory remittance both loans and premium.
• Releases Final Paychecks.
• Monitoring of stale final paychecks.
