Job summary

Metrobank is seeking a Payments Officer to ensure timely, accurate inward payment processing and compliance. You will implement operational policies, supervise daily activities, and support reporting and audits.

The role reports to the Inwards Payments Department within the Payments Operations Division and is located at Metrobank Center, BGC. Candidates should have a business background and relevant payment operations experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in any Business-related field.
• Relevant experience in Payment Operations or related banking functions
• Strong analytical, supervisory, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end inward payment processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
• Review and authorize payment orders, Treasury rates, and above‑threshold transactions.
• Monitor and resolve account payables, receivables, and other float items.
• Supervise staff performance, scheduling, and adherence to operational procedures.
• Coordinate audit submissions and prepare required internal and regulatory reports.
• Maintain operational readiness, including supplies and cross‑unit coordination.
• Conduct training for new hires and ODP participants, ensuring alignment with updated processes.
