Job summary

JPMorganChase in Metro Manila seeks a Payments Lifecycle Analyst to manage daily cash movement and intraday liquidity within a robust control framework. You will monitor payment processing, investigate breaks, and coordinate resolution with internal partners and external banks.

You will contribute to operational resilience by quick issue response, clear communication, and identifying opportunities to simplify and automate processes across global teams and schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience in cash operations, market operations, or liquidity operations within a financial institution.
• Working knowledge of payment and messaging standards and platforms such as SWIFT and ISO 20022.
• Experience with real-time gross settlement and clearing environments.
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills with tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to update stakeholders promptly.

Responsibilities

• Monitor intraday cash positions across nostro accounts to support liquidity.
• Execute fund transfers across internal and external accounts per controls and cut-off times.
• Perform daily cash reconciliations; investigate discrepancies and resolve breaks.
• Partner with treasury to support intraday liquidity and funding decisions.
• Monitor clearing queues and payment platforms to support timely settlement.
• Respond to issues by analyzing root causes and resolving delays and postings.
• Analyze inflows/outflows to support funding decisions and forecasts.
• Support regression testing and controlled implementation of system enhancements.
• Contribute to business continuity readiness and process automation initiatives.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders and agent banks.
