Job summary

Thomson Medical Pte Ltd. is seeking a dynamic Patient Service Centre (PSC) Manager to oversee daily PSC operations, including pre-admission, inpatient and day surgery admissions, billing, collections and enquiries.

You will drive efficient workflows, service standards and KPIs while leading a team to ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality patient service. The role requires a degree with supervision experience and a proven ability to lead teams, with strong communication and procedural

Qualifications

• Degree with at least 4 years of supervisory experience.
• Proven ability to manage and lead teams effectively.
• Positive, proactive and demonstrates integrity.
• Ability to manage complex cases, de-escalate complaints, and lead service recovery.
• Independent, self-motivated and able to work flexible hours.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement departmental goals, policies and procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement to optimise resources and compliance.
• Establish and monitor workflows, service standards and KPIs.
• Oversee end‑to‑end patient pre‑admission, admission, discharge, payments and enquiries.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial counselling.
• Resolve billing matters prior to patient discharge.
• Lead and supervise staff to deliver high service standards.
• Oversee onboarding and structured training for staff competency.
• Provide coaching, guidance and performance feedback.
• Promote accountability, teamwork and service excellence.
• Address service issues within agreed timelines.
• Support Business Office in complex billing cases.
• Participate in hospital committees and cross‑functional initiatives.
• Prepare and submit monthly operational and performance reports.
• Monitor and track key service performance indicators.
• Ensure compliance with departmental policies and regulatory requirements.
