Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficiency in medical terminology is required.
• Basic knowledge of ICD-10/CPT coding is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Epic experience is highly preferred (Epic Prelude & Cadence).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end patient intake and registration.
• Schedule high-volume appointments across departments per protocols.
• Perform real-time insurance eligibility checks and obtain prior authorizations.
• Counsel patients on financial responsibilities and POS collections.
• Maintain EHR data integrity by merging duplicates and updating coverages.
• Act as patient navigator, providing instructions and resolving scheduling conflicts.
