Qualifications

• At least one year of voice or call-center experience.
• Very good spoken and written English.
• Clear, professional, and easy-to-understand phone communication.
• Able to handle at least 60 calls during a shift.
• Strong attention to detail when reviewing patient, insurance, and billing information.
• Able to recognize issues, ask the right questions, and find missing information.
• Patient, empathetic, and professional when handling sensitive or difficult conversations.
• Able to work independently without constant supervision.
• Comfortable learning scheduling systems, insurance portals, and healthcare terminology.
• Willing and able to work full-time, on-site, during permanent night-shift hours.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound and make outbound calls to assist patients with scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling appointments.
• Handle approximately 60 patient calls per shift while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
• Explain appointment requirements, available schedules, and general next steps clearly to patients.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for procedures, treatments, and scheduled services.
• Review patient, insurance, appointment, and billing information for accuracy.
• Contact patients, insurance companies, or internal teams to obtain missing or incomplete information.
• Identify scheduling, eligibility, authorization, or documentation issues and take appropriate action.
• Document all patient interactions and updates accurately in the appropriate system.
• Escalate complex patient or insurance concerns when necessary.
• Protect confidential patient information and follow company privacy and security procedures.
