Job summary

Author Health is seeking a Patient Engagement Specialist to drive enrollment through outbound outreach and by educating patients and caregivers about services and benefits. You will coordinate with care teams and use CRM/EMR systems to ensure smooth onboarding from referral to activation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any 4-year course.
• Minimum of 1 year customer service or sales experience.
• Strong ability to initiate conversations and build connections with vulnerable individuals.
• Proficiency in critical thinking, time management, and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-volume outreach over the phone to educate potential patients and caregivers on services and benefits and help schedule appointments.
• Independently organize and prioritize workload to meet outreach and enrollment goals.
• Use CRM/EMR to track outreach and document interactions and consent.
• Collaborate with care teams to ensure smooth transition from outreach to ongoing support.
• Provide feedback to improve outreach strategies while keeping patient focus.
• Participate in virtual meetings and maintain motivation in a fully remote environment.
