The Parts Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the Parts & Accessories Department to ensure that the required parts and accessories for mechanical and body repairs are always available. The role involves inventory management, supplier coordination, sales development, and compliance with Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) standards.
Ensure that all needed parts are readily available to support service and repair operations without delays.
Analyze parts movement trends and maintain inventory at optimal levels.
Conduct monthly cycle counting and annual inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy.
Maintain stock accuracy between physical inventory and ADOMS system, making adjustments as necessary.
Identify and evaluate suppliers for replacement parts and coordinate with the Purchasing Department for procurement.
Develop alternative sourcing strategies by outsourcing from parts stores when needed.
Develop marketing programs to increase parts and accessories sales.
Identify and build relationships with fleet accounts, insurance companies, and repair shops for bulk sales opportunities.
Maintain regular contact with major customers to enhance loyalty and secure long-term revenue.
Ensure full compliance with MMPC policies and dealership standards in parts handling and inventory management.
3-5 years experience in the automotive industry or other related industries
Be aware of the operational/environmental/occupational risk identification procedures and assessments to be followed, to prevent injuries and/or damage to client property and equipment.
Report risks relating to work/tasks or within the work environment to management and follow up, by escalating, if identified risk not addressed in agreed time frame.
