Job summary

Autohub Group of Companies is seeking a Parts Supervisor to oversee the Parts Department operations for timely parts availability and accurate inventory management. You will supervise parts staff, coordinate with Service and Sales teams, and ensure efficient parts handling with strong customer service focus.

The role requires 2–3 years in automotive parts operations, supervisory experience, and solid knowledge of inventory systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in automotive parts operations.
  • Supervisory or team-lead experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts and inventory management.
  • Experience with parts inventory systems or dealership management systems is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-service oriented with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Parts Department.
  • Lead, train, and monitor the performance of Parts personnel.
  • Ensure proper receiving, inspection, storage, issuance, and documentation of parts.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular physical inventory counts.
  • Monitor parts availability, stock levels, fast-moving and slow-moving items.
  • Prepare and process parts orders based on service and customer requirements.
  • Coordinate with the Service Department to ensure timely availability of required parts for repair and maintenance jobs.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and distributors regarding parts orders, availability, pricing, and delivery schedules.
  • Monitor back orders, special orders, returns, warranties, and defective parts.
  • Ensure proper tagging, coding, binning, and organization of all parts.

About the role

The Parts Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the dealership's Parts Department, ensuring the availability, proper storage, accurate inventory, and timely distribution of automotive parts. The position supervises parts personnel, coordinates with Service and Sales teams, manages inventory levels, and ensures efficient parts operations while maintaining excellent customer service and profitability.
