Job summary

Andrews Manpower Consulting Inc. in Laguna, Philippines seeks an experienced Accounting Supervisor to lead the accounting team, oversee AP/AR/Disbursement, and ensure timely, accurate reporting to management.

You will prepare financial statements, perform bank reconciliations, and monitor expenses and tax compliance while coordinating with internal departments and external partners to improve processes and controls.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor the accounting team (AP, AR, Disbursement) ensuring staff development and smooth daily operations.
• Review and approve entries, vouchers, collections, and payments for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Prepare and review financial reports (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss) and other management reports.
• Perform and oversee bank reconciliations to ensure accurate cash recording.
• Monitor and analyze expenses, advances, receivables, and payables, providing insights to management.
• Ensure BIR compliance including preparation and submission of tax returns, withholding taxes, and supporting documentation.
• Assist in internal and external audits with requested records, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Ensure timely reporting to management, with copies to the Group Accounting & Financial Analysis Head, in line with internal control policies.
• Coordinate with internal departments (Finance & Accounting, Operations, Recruitment) and external parties (Clients, Banks, Auditors, BIR) as needed.
• Coach, train, and develop staff, providing guidance on accounting processes, reporting, and best practices.
• Assist the General Manager in financial analysis, reporting, and operational matters as needed.
• Identify process improvements in accounting, reporting, and controls for efficiency and accuracy.

All accounting activities are conducted in accordance with the policies and standards of Andrews Manpower Consulting Inc., ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely reporting to management. Provides support and assistance to the General Manager as needed for financial and operational matters.

• Prepare, consolidate, and review financial reports, including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement, and other management reports.
• Perform and oversee bank reconciliations, ensuring all cash transactions are properly recorded.
• Monitor and analyze expenses, advances, receivables, and payables, providing insights to management.
• Ensure BIR compliance, including preparation and submission of tax returns, withholding taxes, and supporting documentation.
• Assist in internal and external audits, providing all necessary records, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Ensure timely submission of reports to management, with copies to the Group Accounting & Financial Analysis Head. All accounting operations, records, and reports are subject to review in accordance with Andrews Manpower Consulting Inc. internal control policies.
