Overview

Accounting Manager

We are looking for a knowledgeable Accounting Manager who can lead and motivate accounting staff members, increase department accuracy and efficiency. The Accounting Manager will manage, delegate, supervise, and participate in all accounting related tasks, oversee the recording, tracking, and reporting of financial information, develop and implement department controls and procedures, and ensure that the department operates efficiently without sacrificing accuracy. reviewing of transactions in accordance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standard (PRFS), supporting documents andinformation that will be made available.

Responsibilities
  • Monthly preparation and submission of standard reports to management such as:
  • a.Trial Balance
  • b.Balance Sheet
  • c.Statement of Profit & Loss
  • d.Schedule of Accounts
  • e.Bank Reconciliation and Cash Flow
  • f.Management Report
  • g.Other Reports and Analysis as needed by Management
  • Maintenance of accounting records and documents
  • Maintenance of accounting records and books of accounts in accordance with local statutory requirements (Manual or Loose-leaf) as follows:
  • a.Cash Receipts Book
  • b.Cash Disbursements Book
  • c.General Journal Book
  • d.General Ledger Book
  • e.Sales Report Book
  • f.Inventory Book
  • Preparation and filing of Audited Financial Statement (AFS) with Securities and Exchange Commission and submission in online portal.
  • Preparation and Filing of General Form Financial Statements (GFFS) Securities and Exchange Commission and submission in online portal
Taxation

Calculation, Filing and Payment of below Tax Returns included but not limited to;

  • Quarterly and Annual Income Tax (1702Q/1702RT).
  • Summary Alpha-list of Withholding Tax (SAWT).
  • Monthly and Annual Withholding Tax on Compensation (BIR Form 1601C/1604CF).
  • Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Expanded Withholding Tax (BIR Form 0619E/1601EQ/1604E).
  • Quarterly Alpha-list of Payees to Whom Taxes Were Withheld (QAP).
  • Monthly/Quarterly Value Added Tax (BIR Form 2550M/2550Q).
  • Summary List of Sales and Purchases (SLSP).
  • Summary List of Importation (SLI).
  • Annual submission of Manual of Loose-leaf books of accounts due every January 31 of the following year.
  • Annual submission of Ending Inventory Report due every January 31 of the following year.
  • Filing and submission of Annual Audited Financial Statement in EAFS portal.
  • Other tax returns that maybe applicable.
Other Accounting Matters
  • Attend to any Tax Audit related matters including preparation of requirements, documents, financial information and reconciliation. Ensure that proper coordination and negotiation with tax examiners exists.
  • Preparation of the audit requirements of external auditors if applicable.
  • Attending external auditor’s inquiry during the audit and coordinating with auditors and management.
  • Evaluating, developing, and improving department controls, systems, and procedures that increase accuracy and efficiency.
  • Overseeing the daily activities of the accounting department and ensuring that all major projects, month-end, and year-end reports are completed accurately and on time.
  • Ensuring that all accounting processes align with financial legislation.
  • Analyzing financial data and creating reports for management, stakeholders, and external parties, such as vendors or lenders.
  • Maintaining accurate and complete financial records and participating in audits or reconciliations, as needed.
  • Assisting other departments as they develop strategies, establish objectives, and make decisions that could have a financial impact on the business.
  • Keeping informed about the latest developments in the finance industry.
