Job summary

TRP, INC. is seeking a Production Engineer based in Laguna, Philippines. You will prepare production schedules and oversee trials for new and mass-produced items, ensuring smooth operations and alignment with master plans.

You will review QC reports, manage process documentation, and interpret engineering drawings. Collaboration with mold vendors and QC teams is essential to maintain high quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (BS IE/BS ME) is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and reading technical drawings.
• Strong communication skills in English and Filipino.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Production Preparation Schedule to ensure on-time, within-budget production.
• Conduct plastic injection molding / tampo printing trial activities for new and mass production to assess tooling performance.
• Prepare and process trial reports, identify issues, assess performance, verify process/product functionality.
• Review QC Evaluation Reports for clarity, completeness, and accuracy reflecting quality.
• Document PFMEA, QCPC, Control Plans, packaging standards, standard manhours, and other quality/production docs.
• Interpret technical drawings to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Coordinate with mold suppliers and QC teams to implement modifications meeting specs.
• Serve customer requirements for each New Product order to maintain satisfaction and efficiency.
• Support Kaizen, 5S, safety, environmental activities and related tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. 1.Prepare Production Preparation Schedule to ensure that the entire production process runs smoothly, on time, and within budget which is also aligned to master Schedule.
2. . Responsible in Conducting Plastic Injection molding / Tampo Printing Trial Activity of New Product and Mass Production Trial to check the tooling performance. This can involve running sample products through the mold / print to see how it behaves under real production conditions.
3. 3. Prepare and Process the trial reports and identify potential issues, assess performance, and verify the functionality of processes or products.
4. 4. Responsible in reviewing of QC Evaluation Report by assessing the document's clarity, completeness, and accuracy in reflecting the quality of the product or process under evaluation.
5. 5. Responsible in Process Documentation such as PFMEA, QCPC, Control Plan, packaging standards, standard manhour and other structured documents that ensure consistent quality, process control, and efficiency during production
6. 6. Evaluating and understanding technical drawings to ensure that the drawing is complete, accurate, and easy to interpret.
7. 7.Monitoring activities and coordinating with mold suppliers and Quality Control (QC) teams & other department involve for the modification condition and ensuring that modifications / improvement are done correctly, meet the required specifications, and maintain high-quality standards.
8. 8. Serve Customer requirements for each New Product orders to maintain customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and meeting business objectives.
9. 9. Participates and supports in all corporate quality, productivity, continuous improvement (Kaizen), 5S, occupational safety and health, environmental activities.
10. 10. Performs other related tasks which may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• > A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is Necessary (BS IE, BS ME etc.) or have a strong Engineering Academic Background.
• > Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office
• > Understand Basic AutoCAD and Technical Drawings
• > Communication skills both in English and Filipino.
