Job summary

Acesite (Phils) Hotel Corporation in Manila is seeking a proactive Paralegal to support our legal team in Manila. You will assist with drafting contracts, conducting legal research, and maintaining organized files in line with corporate procedures.

The role requires 2–3 years in a legal support role, paralegal certification, strong knowledge of procedures, and excellent communication. Hospitality-regulations familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Completion of paralegal training or a relevant paralegal certification program
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working as a paralegal or in a similar legal support role
  • Strong knowledge of legal procedures, court rules and legal documentation requirements
  • Proficiency in legal research methodologies and familiarity with legal databases and resources
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft clear and concise legal documents
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all legal work and documentation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and legal software systems
  • Professional demeanour and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive legal information
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry regulations and employment law is preferred
  • Fluency in both English and Filipino is desirable

Responsibilities

  • Assist legal counsel with the preparation and drafting of legal documents, contracts, agreements and correspondence
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to support case preparation and legal matters
  • Maintain and organize legal files, records and documentation in accordance with company procedures
  • Review contracts and agreements for accuracy, compliance and potential legal issues
  • Support the preparation of materials for legal proceedings, including pleadings and discovery documents
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel and court officials on behalf of the legal department
  • Monitor regulatory compliance and keep the organisation informed of changes in relevant legislation
  • Provide administrative support to the legal team, including scheduling, correspondence management and billing
  • Assist with due diligence activities and legal audits as required
  • Support the handling of employment-related legal matters and personnel issues
