Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Paralegal to support property management legal matters in a busy office in the Philippines. You will draft and review contracts, conduct legal research, and maintain meticulous case records, ensuring deadlines are met and communications with clients and counsel are clear.

The role requires strong written and verbal skills, confidentiality, and the ability to work independently or with a team, with familiarity in Philippine property law and real estate regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Drafting, reviewing and preparing legal documents, contracts and correspondence related to property management matters
  • Conducting legal research and gathering information to support attorneys in case preparation and client advice
  • Maintaining and organising legal files, documents and case records in accordance with company procedures and legal requirements
  • Scheduling appointments, managing calendars and coordinating meetings between attorneys and clients
  • Assisting with property transaction documentation, including deeds, leases and property agreements
  • Preparing pleadings, motions and other legal filings for submission to courts and relevant authorities
  • Communicating with clients, opposing counsel and court personnel to provide updates and obtain necessary information
  • Supporting the management of billing, time tracking and client accounts
  • Assisting with administrative tasks including correspondence, filing and office organisation
  • Ensuring compliance with legal deadlines and maintaining detailed records of all legal matters

Job description

Key responsibilities

What we're looking for
  1. Certification or diploma in paralegal studies or law-related field from an accredited institution
  2. Proven experience working as a paralegal or in a legal support role, preferably in property management or real estate law
  3. Strong knowledge of legal procedures, documentation requirements and court processes
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft clear and accurate legal documents
  5. Proficiency in legal research and the ability to quickly locate and analyse relevant information
  6. Advanced organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software applications
  8. Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all legal documentation
  9. Professional demeanour and ability to maintain client confidentiality
  10. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  11. Familiarity with Philippine property law and real estate regulations is preferred
