Job summary

Roe AI, a YC W24 startup, is hiring its first SDR to help turn traction into a repeatable outbound sales motion. You will work with the Head of Sales and CEO to target fraud, AML, and compliance leaders, test messaging, and convert interest into qualified opportunities.

As an early team member, you will own parts of the outbound process, receive direct feedback, and shape our growth strategy while learning a technical product in a fast-paced fintech/regtech environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in persuading people across sales, retail, hospitality, or customer service.
• Competitive streak from activities like sports, Model UN, debate, etc.
• Clear writing and strong communication skills.
• Willingness to speak with senior leaders and learn a technical product.
• Initiative and comfort working without a detailed playbook.
• Real interest in AI and eagerness to use it.

Responsibilities

• Build outbound pipeline across banks, fintechs, and marketplaces.
• Research accounts and map buyers across fraud, AML/BSA, compliance, and risk.
• Run outreach through email, LinkedIn, and phone.
• Lead first calls, qualify opportunities, and hand them off with context.
• Help build our messaging, sequences, tooling, and reporting.
• Travel to industry conferences to represent Roe AI and meet prospects.
