Job summary

Thrivemodal is seeking a US Track and Trace Operations Specialist responsible for monitoring air freight activity and ensuring real-time visibility. You will coordinate with agents, vendors, and internal teams to resolve transit issues and maintain client service standards.

Responsibilities include using TMS systems (Worltrak/TAI), generating Excel reports, and communicating updates to ensure on-time delivery while supporting process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in Track and Trace, Freight Operations, or Logistics Coordination preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel for data entry, tracking, and reporting.
• Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) such as Worltrak and TAI.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track active shipments using the company’s TMS (Worltrak and TAI).
• Communicate shipment status, delivery appointments, and issue resolutions with agents, carriers, and vendors via Zoom Phone and email.
• Identify delays or exceptions and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve them.
• Update milestones and documentation within TMS and internal tools.
• Generate Excel reports for shipment visibility and client reporting.
• Support US operations to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to client requirements.
• Suggest process improvements to close gaps and boost efficiency.

The US Track and Trace Operations Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and timely movement of shipments by closely monitoring air freight activity, maintaining real-time visibility, and proactively resolving transit issues. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with logistics systems and Excel-based reporting tools.

The Specialist will serve as a liaison between agents, vendors, and internal teams, providing accurate updates, coordinating responses, and ensuring compliance with client service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and track all active shipments using the company’s Transportation Management Systems (TMS): Worltrak and TAI.
• Communicate effectively with agents, carriers, and vendors via Zoom Phone and email to confirm shipment statuses, delivery appointments, and issue resolutions.
• Identify potential delays or exceptions in transit and proactively elevate or resolve them in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
• Update shipment milestones and documentation accurately within the TMS and internal tracking tools.
• Generate and maintain Excel reports for shipment visibility, performance tracking, and client reporting.
• Collaborate with the US operations team to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to client requirements.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and suggesting efficiency enhancements.

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone who can handle the track & trace as well as exception management of shipments.

• Experience: Prior experience in Track and Trace, Freight Operations, or Logistics Coordination is preferred.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Excel (data entry, tracking sheets, basic formulas, and reporting).
• Experience using Transportation Management Systems (TMS) — especially Worltrak and TAI — is highly advantageous.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable handling professional correspondence via Zoom Phone and email.
• Attention to Detail: Strong accuracy in data entry, monitoring, and documentation.
• Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment supporting US operations, including potential alignment with US business hours.
