2GO Group Inc. is seeking a Route Planner to plan, optimize, and coordinate daily transportation routes for shipments, ensuring timely, cost-effective movement and maximizing fleet utilization. The role supports SLA adherence and overall operational performance.
The incumbent will develop route plans, analyze volumes, forecast truck requirements, coordinate with vendors and procurement for quotations, and generate route cost reports. Shift work and weekend coverage may be required.
To plan, optimize, and coordinate daily transportation routes to ensure the timely, cost-effective, and efficient movement of shipments while maximizing fleet utilization, meeting service level agreements (SLAs), and supporting overall operational performance.
1. Develop daily, weekly, and monthly linehaul and shuttle route plans.
2. Analyze shipment volume, delivery requirements, and vehicle capacity.
3. Optimize routes to reduce cost and improve utilization.
4. Identify opportunities for route consolidation.
5. Review route performance and recommend improvements.
6. Maintain route master data and planning reports.
1. Forecast truck requirements
2. Coordinate truck allocation requirements with Logistics Coordinators

1. Provide transport requirements for sourcing activities
2. Support quotation requests from transport providers
3. Validate vendor rates against route requirements and market conditions
4. Provide route analysis for cost evaluation
5. Support transport contract renewal discussions
6. Coordinate with procurement for vendor accreditation requirements
7. Validate trucking quotations
8. Support contract implementation.

Educational Background:
Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain
Management, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in:
Route Planning
Warehouse Logistics
Gateway Operations
Supervisory Exposure
Operations Support Competencies, Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Able to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced setting
Willing to work on shifting schedules, including weekends and holidays if required
Ability to work under pressure, demonstrate urgency and meet tight deadlines
Strong understanding of end-to-end logistics processes (inbound, sorting, dispatching)
Good communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (excel, word, PowerPoint)
Certification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Lean, or Six Sigma is an advantage
