Deckercargo Logistic Corp. seeks an Operations Supervisor to oversee daily logistics, trucking, fleet, dispatch, delivery and warehousing activities within the assigned scope.

You will coordinate manpower, ensure efficiency, and maintain safety and timely reporting to address operational issues. The role requires leadership, planning, and strong communication to optimize resource use, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvements in service delivery.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in logistics, trucking, fleet operations, transportation, distribution, or warehousing.
• Previous supervisory experience in operational teams is preferred.
• Working knowledge of dispatch operations, trip monitoring, fleet coordination, cargo handling, warehouse processes, and operational documentation.
• Strong leadership, planning, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends or holidays when required by operations.
• CAN START ASAP.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, organize, assign, and monitor daily operations, including dispatch, truck and crew deployment, trip monitoring, delivery, loading/unloading, and warehouse activities.
• Ensure effective utilization and coordination of trucks, drivers, helpers, warehouse personnel, equipment, and other resources.
• Monitor trip schedules, delivery commitments, truck turnaround time, cargo movement, proof of delivery, and required documents.
• Coordinate with Dispatch, Fleet/Motorpool, Warehouse, Customer Service, Billing, and other departments to maintain smooth operations and resolve issues.
• Supervise, coach, and evaluate assigned personnel; communicate work instructions, performance expectations, and priorities.
• Monitor performance against targets and KPIs; identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with policies, client requirements, road safety, cargo-handling procedures, and safety standards.
• Review incidents, delays, breakdowns, cargo loss or damage, shortages, and complaints; ensure timely reporting and follow-up.
• Monitor manpower availability, attendance, scheduling, and deployment to support service requirements.
• Conduct routine checks on vehicle readiness, cargo handling, warehouse orderliness, and equipment use.
• Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports with trends and utilization.
• Identify process improvements that boost productivity, cost control, safety, satisfaction, and reliability.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• The Operations Supervisor oversees and coordinates daily operational activities involving logistics, trucking, fleet utilization, dispatch, delivery, and/or warehousing within the assigned scope. The position is accountable for manpower coordination, operational efficiency, service delivery, safety, compliance, and timely reporting. The role ensures that company resources are used effectively and that operational issues are addressed promptly in coordination with relevant departments.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan, organize, assign, and monitor daily operations, including dispatch, truck and crew deployment, trip monitoring, delivery, loading/unloading, and warehouse activities, as applicable.
• Ensure effective utilization and coordination of trucks, drivers, helpers, warehouse personnel, equipment, and other operational resources.
• Monitor trip schedules, delivery commitments, truck turnaround time, cargo movement, proof of delivery, and completion of required documents.
• Coordinate with Dispatch, Fleet/Motorpool, Warehouse, Customer Service, Billing, and other departments to maintain smooth operations and resolve service issues.
• Supervise, coach, and evaluate assigned personnel; communicate work instructions, performance expectations, and operational priorities.
• Monitor operational performance against agreed targets and KPIs, identify gaps, and implement or recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, road safety rules, cargo-handling procedures, and applicable occupational safety standards.
• Review and investigate operational incidents, delays, breakdowns, cargo loss or damage, shortages, and customer complaints; ensure timely reporting and follow-up.
• Monitor manpower availability, attendance, scheduling, and deployment to support service requirements.
• Conduct or oversee routine operational checks covering vehicle readiness, cargo handling, warehouse orderliness, and equipment use within the assigned scope.
• Prepare and submit accurate daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports, including performance trends, incidents, and resource utilization.
• Identify process improvements that support productivity, cost control, safety, customer satisfaction, and operational reliability.
• Perform other related duties reasonably assigned by superior.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in logistics, trucking, fleet operations, transportation, distribution, or warehousing.
• Previous supervisory experience managing operational teams is preferred.
• Working knowledge of dispatch operations, trip monitoring, fleet coordination, cargo handling, warehouse processes, and operational documentation.
• Strong leadership, planning, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to analyze operational data, monitor KPIs, and prepare clear reports.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends or holidays when operationally required, subject to company policy and applicable law.
