Job summary

YTO EXPRESS (PHILIPPINES) TECHNOLOGY GROUP CORPORATION is seeking a capable Van Dispatch Supervisor in Metro Manila. You will supervise daily van dispatch operations ensuring timely, safe, and efficient shipment transport between hubs, warehouses, and branches.

You will oversee van and driver assignments, monitor schedules, and ensure accurate dispatch documentation while maintaining compliance with safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 4+ years of van dispatch, transportation, fleet operations, courier services, or logistics experience preferred, with 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of route planning, van scheduling, dispatch operations, shipment documentation, and fleet coordination.

Responsibilities

• Assign vans and drivers to daily routes based on shipment volume and priorities.
• Monitor real-time dispatch status and address conflicts or delays.
• Supervise staff in preparing manifests, waybills, trip tickets, and route sheets.
• Coordinate with hubs, warehouses, and branches to ensure timely transfers and minimize delays.
• Ensure pre-dispatch vehicle inspections for safety and compliance.
• Report and escalate vehicle breakdowns or major delays to supervisor.
• Maintain dispatch records, trip logs, and performance reports.
• Monitor driver attendance and compliance with policies and safety standards.

About the role

Responsible for supervising and coordinating daily van dispatch operations to ensure the timely, safe, and efficient transportation of shipments between hubs, warehouses, and branches. Oversees van and driver assignments, monitors dispatch schedules, ensures accurate dispatch documentation, and supervises dispatch personnel to meet operational targets and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assign vans and drivers to daily delivery and pickup routes based on shipment volume forecasts, route requirements, and operational priorities

• Monitor real-time van dispatch status and address scheduling conflicts, delays, and route deviations to ensure timely shipment transportation

• Supervise Van Dispatch Staff in preparing and verifying manifests, waybills, trip tickets, route sheets, and other dispatch-related documents

• Coordinate with van drivers regarding dispatch schedules, routes, shipment requirements, pickup and delivery assignments, and expected arrival times

• Ensure that pre-dispatch vehicle inspections are conducted to verify roadworthiness, cargo security, and compliance with safety requirements

• Immediately report and escalation vehicle breakdowns, accidents, major delays, and other operational issues to the immediate supervisor

• Maintain accurate dispatch records, trip logs, vehicle utilization data, and daily operational performance reports

• Monitor driver attendance, conduct, and compliance with company policies, traffic regulations, and safety standards

• Coordinate with hubs, warehouses, branches, and concerned operations teams to ensure timely shipment transfers and minimize dispatch delays

• Monitor van dispatch performance, identify operational issues, and recommend improvements to route efficiency, vehicle utilization, and on-time dispatch performance

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or any related field is preferred

• At least 4 years of experience in van dispatch, transportation, fleet operations, courier services, or logistics is preferred, with 1-2 years in a supervisory role

• Knowledge of route planning, van scheduling, dispatch operations, shipment documentation, and fleet coordination

• Familiarity with GPS tracking systems, dispatch monitoring tools, and basic vehicle maintenance requirements is an advantage

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

• Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Good written and verbal communication and coordination skills

• Ability to work under pressure and manage time-sensitive dispatch operations

• Willingness to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays as required by operational needs
