We’re an award-winning global outsourcer providing contact center and back office services on behalf of our global clients. As a Commercial Inventory Coordinator, Sponsorships, your role is vital in keeping our customers happy and contributing to our organization’s growth and success.

As Operations|Seven Network Metro - Sports & Sponsorships, you are responsible in ensuring that all employment and personal information of employees are kept and handled in accordance with existing company policies on Information Security and Data Privacy.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR ROLE

The Commercial Inventory (CI) Coordinator, Sponsorships is responsible for the communication, administration, management and delivery of advertising sponsorship telecasts, special placement and the maximisation of commercial inventory availabilities.

Areas of Direct Responsibility

• Preparation, communication and administration of all sponsorship and premium revenue deals for General Entertainment programming across all channels.

• All required statutory & regulatory compliance
• Accurate delivery of all General Entertainment sponsorship and premium revenue deals, free of potential credits or makegoods
• Correct application of Sales and Inventory Management policies to maximise revenue

• Providing positive contributions to discussion and debate and proactively searching out innovative ways to improve present procedures.
• Using time effectively, economically and proactively to advance broader team delivery outcomes.

Task specific Skills/Duties/Responsibilities

• Stay abreast of Seven and competitor programming and audience information and develop ongoing comprehensive knowledge of Seven’s product and performance
• Understand and exercise regard for the statutory requirements of the Television Industry Code of Practice and the Australian Communications & Media Authority
• Adhere to Network policies and procedures that impact the Commercial Inventory outcomes
• Coordinate production of sponsor billboards

• Formulate, produce and publish placement plans to deliver sponsor requirements for sponsored programs
• Coordinate special placement request/requirement with Sales and then translate and communicate to Commercial Inventory group, Sales, Presentation and Advanced Planning for accurate delivery
• Administer sponsorship availabilities to maximise revenue and inventory opportunities
• Prepare and present communications, verbal and written, for CI management as required in accordance with accepted company styles, standards and procedures
• Attend Sales meetings and CI meetings and conferences and ensure efficient flow of information between CI and Sales
• Liaise with Presentation, Programming, Partnerships and Sales to maximise revenue opportunities while working within the Network’s presentation guidelines
• Provide back up to CI Team Leader, Sponsorships at times of absence or unavailability

People Management

• Provide timely and accurate information to appropriate parties when requested and required
• Communicate with and assist CI and Sales Management and personnel and other Seven employees when required or directed
• Build strong internal and external relationships to enhance the team’s overall effectiveness and performance
• Initiate and encourage innovative thinking; foster attitudes of vigilance, alertness and care for attention to detail among staff

Administrative Duties

• Ensure efficient archiving and filing of all relevant documents relating to sponsorships and systems for ease of access and referral
• Handle CI and Sales enquiries relating to all sponsorship issues
• Collate and publish the specifics and availabilities of airtime sponsorships with all relevant Network personnel via email and Intranet

Other Duties

• Fulfil other duties consistent with the role as required or requested by CI Team Leader, CI Manager, CI Operations Group Head, Director of Revenue Strategy and/or the Network Director of Sales
• The CI Coordinator, Sponsorships is expected to operate at all times within the framework of the Seven Network (operations) Ltd.’s. guidelines, policies and procedures

A BIT ABOUT YOU

• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
• Computer Skills to an intermediate level, Outlook, Word, Excel
• Media experience, media-oriented tertiary qualifications or advertising industry experience in a similar role would be beneficial
• Demonstrated initiative, persistence, creativity, consistency and flexibility – resilience and initiative required to take a project from inception and develop ongoing procedures commensurate with goals
• Computer skills – able to rapidly learn new software/ information systems readily using existing base skill set
