Responsibilities

• Receive notifications upon customs release and coordinate container pull-out from port to Laguna warehouse.
• Coordinate trucking partners for container pull-out, transfer, and final delivery schedules.
• Oversee all warehouse operations: unloading, receiving, counting, put-away, and dispatch.
• Manage space planning and capacity allocation to optimize workflow and container turnaround.
• Establish and monitor a real-time cargo tracking system from customs release to client delivery.
• Oversee outbound dispatch schedules for client delivery or inter-warehouse transfers.
• Lead and develop warehouse supervisors and logistics staff in Laguna.
• Develop and enforce SOPs for unloading, receiving, inventory put-away, damage reporting, picker/packer, and returns.
• Prepare structured reports on volume, lead times, capacity, delivery performance, and expenses.
• Monitor demurrage, detention, storage, and trucking charges to reduce costs.

About the role

The Operations Manager is responsible for the overall management and operational control of the company's logistics and warehouse operations in Laguna, specifically starting once containers and cargo are released from customs clearance. This role assumes full ownership of cargo movement, container pull-out, trucking, warehouse receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and final delivery execution once released. The Operations Manager provides a high level of operational leadership, ensuring that shipments move seamlessly from post-customs release to warehouse receiving, inventory entry, and final client dispatch—maintaining full cargo visibility, strict cost controls, efficient lead times, and proper documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Receive notifications upon customs release and coordinate the timely pull-out of containers from the port to the Laguna warehouse
• Coordinate with trucking partners for container pull-out, transfer, positioning, and final delivery schedules based on warehouse capacity and cargo urgency
• Directly oversee all operations at the Warehouse, including container unloading, cargo receiving, sorting, counting, checking, and put-away
• Manage warehouse space planning and capacity allocation to optimize workflow, storage utilization, and container turnaround time
• Establish and maintain a real-time cargo monitoring system from the point of customs release up to final client delivery
• Oversee outgoing dispatch schedules for client delivery or inter-warehouse transfers
• Lead, supervise, and develop warehouse supervisors, logistics staff, and operational personnel in Laguna
• Develop and enforce standardized SOPs covering container unloading, warehouse receiving, inventory put-away, damage reporting, cycle counting, picking/packing, dispatch, and client returns
• Prepare and submit structured operational reports covering volume handled, lead times, warehouse capacity utilization, delivery performance, and expense summaries
• Monitor container demurrage, detention, storage, and trucking charges to eliminate unnecessary operational expenses

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics execution, transportation management, 3PL, or supply chain operations
• At least 2–3 years in a managerial or supervisory role overseeing warehouse and logistics operations
• Strong background in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management controls, container unloading procedures, and fleet scheduling
• Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets for reporting, inventory tracking, and performance analytics
• Willing and able to work full-time in Laguna
• Operational ownership: identifies problems, assigns accountability, follows through relentlessly, and closes issues without waiting for step-by-step instruction
• Highly attentive to inventory counts, container tracking numbers, receiving logs, space management, and stock movement accuracy
• Ability to address operational challenges quickly and logically
• Maintains high standards for safety, productivity, discipline, and accountability among warehouse and transport personnel
